PERSPECTO by Francesca Badame and Anna Farina, of the University La Sapienza, Rome
In the project, the use of veneers with different shades of multiple composite colors, juxtaposed and overlapped, generates a surprising effect of geometric transparencies in the wooden surface, such as matter crossed in a different way and calculated by a clear background light.
RIGATO by Camilla Cermenati and Erika Frusca of the New Academy of Fine Arts, Milan
Aesthetics of great impact, refinement and elegance of the design and presentation, as well as originality in the idea: they are the connecting elements between this project and the FontanaArte brand.

FADED by Francesca Trentani of the Fine Arts of the Brera, Milan
A delicate pattern inspired by the organic and fluid shapes of the marine species that populate the coral reef designed to elegantly decorate the living spaces. The intent of the designer is to raise awareness of the phenomenon of coral reef bleaching, which is the cause of heavy imbalances in the marine ecosystem.
ROCKY WOOD by Giulia Bruno, Gualtiero Borgonovo and Pietro Mariani of the Fine Arts of the Brera, Milan
The graphic play of full/empty, light/shadow is faced in the project with a particular sensitivity to three-dimensional illusion in a controlled parametric grid, where cavities and reliefs of an immaginary geography appear forcefully, generated by the use of veneers of five contrasting essences, assembled with the large-size inlay technique.
QUADRICUBIA by Gabriele Luciani and Claudia Martinazzo, Polytechnic of Milan
The simple programmed serial modification of a square element within a grid of dark square elements generates a surprising effect of dynamic three-dimensionality and spatial depth. It is explicit the reference to the procedures of programmed art and to one of its masters Enzo Mari.
MANI DI FATA by Lorenzo Mangili, Luca Persico, Andrea Maria Mensi and Luca Balestra
COSTELLATIONS by Andrea Olgiati, IED Academy Aldo Galli, Como

ON THE ROAD by Marco Fabio, Academy of fine Arts of Brera
For the exclusive choice of FSC-certified veneers, but also for the recall of the pneumatic element which represents the last frontier (in terms of product) of FSC for the certification of a product deriving from a forest https://it.fsc.org/it-it/news/id/909-. The decorative could very well be used in a showroom for the sale of cars with FSC certified tires.
PRISM by Zheng Mingming, ISIA, Florence
For the exclusive choice of veneers certified both FSC 100% and FSC mixed and the nice juxtaposition of colors that also represent the mix of the different expectations/visions of the FSC stakeholders, but all converging on a more responsible forest and environmental management.
PROFONDO by Pandolfi Yvonne, Academy of fine Arts of Brera
The panel, designed for the Graffiti collection with the industrial inlay technique, creates an extraordinary sensation of movement and depth that seems to expand the spaces, thanks to the alternation of the wood grain and the combination of 180° rotated panels.
TAVOLO AUDREY by Federica Sciretta, Cecilia Avesani and Greta Villa, Polytechnic of Milan
Like the Art Deco phenomenon that inspired it, the Audrey table expresses a classic and at the same time volumetrically dynamc style thanks to the sophisticated combination of the graphic and architectural elements of the triangle and the radius.
DOODLE MANIA by Orlandini Ivan, Polytechnic of Milan
Design with an original, cheerful and at the same time expressive line, Doodle Mania is based on the idea that thoughts become art starting from a collective experience in which different users have produced scribbles, signs, shapes, imprecise traces or small drawings without thinking or thinking about it enough to enclose a thought. The whole has been combined to create a unique design made with the embossing or bas-relief technique, for a new and intriguing three-dimensional surface result that enhances the wood, thanks to technical virtuosity.

FACADE by Geovanny Carignani and Luca Cotini
On a two-dimensional grid graphic scheme, which cites the full/empty relation of an architectural facade structure, the play of shadows and light/dark, simulated by imaginary opposing light sources, generates a three-dimensional and spatial effect that is wisely non-realistic and full of ambiguity.
